5 insulation tips!
A cold winter is just around the corner! That’s why we give you 5 simple tips, which can save you hundreds of euros!
1. Use our wall panels under the windowsill.
The wall under the windowsill is mostly a thermal bridge and gives off the cold air to the room. You can feel this with your hand.
Place here our 3D Wall Panels in desired color and this will save tremendously!
Sometimes this requires disconnecting your radiator from the wall.
This job is really done within minutes and saves a huge amount in heating costs!
2. Use Tesa Thermo film for single-glazed windows!
A small investment, but a very important one! Often we still have a single-glazed window somewhere in the house. Think for example of a toilet window or bathroom window. If you place this transparent film on single glass, the effect is almost as good as double glazing.
This job is done within minutes and saves an awful lot!
3. Exterior walls fitted with our 3D Wall Panels.
Note! You can use our 3D Wall Panels both inside and outside. If you do not want to place them on the outside wall, you can place them on the inside wall! If you place them on the inside wall which is connected to the outside wall, then you provide an extra layer of insulation! Especially with poorly insulated walls, this measure contributes to a more favorable temperature in the room in question!
Instead of painting or wallpapering, choose our 3D Wall Panels. Available in concrete look, brick look and natural stone look.
This job also takes no time at all.
4. Weather stripping
Make sure exterior doors close properly. Often you don’t notice it, but the rubber is damaged and because of this, a lot of cold sneaks in unintentionally and unnoticed!
This is a simple measure but oh so effective!
5. Set your central heating boiler to 65 degrees. Most central heating boilers in the Netherlands are set to 80 degrees. You can have this set to 65 degrees. This saves about €150 annually
Ask an installer to do this, this job is easily done by someone with experience!
