Brick Waal format<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Waal format (WF) is a standardized size for a brick, namely 210 \u00d7 100 \u00d7 50 millimeters.
\nThe name originated because this format was manufactured by brickworks on the banks of the Waal River.
\nFor a long time, brick formats were named after the area of origin.
\nThus existed the IJssel format<\/strong>, the Hilversum format<\/strong>, the Dordrecht format<\/strong>, Dutch format<\/strong> and the Waal format.<\/strong><\/a> All these formats had their own dimensions.
\nNowadays the names have remained, but they no longer have anything to do with the place of origin, only with the dimensions of the brick. <\/p>\n

So bricks are very popular and impossible to imagine the streets of the Netherlands without them.
